The Opportunity
The Islamic College of Brisbane is seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and committed Sports Coaches - Futsal/Football to support the College’s growing co-curricular program. This role will work closely with the P–12 Academy Coordinator (Sport) and HPE Department to support students across Prep to Year 12 in a variety of futsal/football opportunities.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about football development, youth wellbeing, and who can model positive sportsmanship, teamwork, and school values. Coaches will deliver structured futsal/football training sessions, accompany teams to games, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for students to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging futsal/football training sessions tailored to the age and skill level of students
Supervise and coach futsal/football teams during games, competitions, and sporting carnivals
Ensure all activities follow College safety and behavioural expectations
Communicate clearly with students, staff, and parents regarding schedules and team updates
Monitor attendance and report incidents in line with College procedures
Represent the College with professionalism and care at all futsal/football events
Selection Criteria
Experience in coaching children or young people, ideally in a school/club futsal or football team setting
Ability to deliver structured, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate futsal/football training sessions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students and parents
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Flexible availability, including after-school hours and weekends for competitions
