Corowa Public School has part-time and full-time teaching positions for 2026.

Corowa Public School is located on the Murray River in southwest NSW, 50km west of Albury and 3.5 hours from Melbourne. Our student population of 160 students includes 6% Aboriginal students. Students with a disability are supported within mainstream classrooms and through a Support Unit consisting of three multi-categorical classes. Our dedicated staff are committed to using digital programming to deliver quality, differentiated teaching and learning programs with a focus on Literacy and Numeracy. Positive Behaviour for Learning and a range of wellbeing programs support inclusivity, and extracurricular activities provide students with the opportunity to develop skills in leadership, public speaking, sport and sustainability. Corowa Public School has strong links with the local community and reflects values consistent with its rural location. 


Role criteria: 

  

  • Evidence of strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to design and deliver engaging, differentiated learning experiences that supports student growth and achievement. 
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and fosters respectful relationships. 
  • Proven capacity to collaborate within a team environment, demonstrating effective communication to work productively with students, parents, colleagues and the wider school community. 
  • Commitment to ongoing professional learning, self-reflection and collegial feedback to continually improve teacher practice and contribute to whole-school initiatives.  

 

Who can apply? 

Teachers with relevant teaching experience and current WWCC who have a current approval to teach, including temporary and permanent teachers.

An expression of interest addressing the role criteria of no more than two A4 pages in length should be submitted to Helen Duncan no later than Friday 28th November 2025.
