About the role
Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified
applicants interested in a temporary classroom teacher position:
- Term
1 2025 - 1 day per week
- Terms
2-4 2025 - 5 days per week
The successful applicant will be teaching in a multistage
K-2 classroom.
Our staff are committed to delivering evidence-based
teaching, learning and wellbeing programs that are personalised to meet the
individual learning needs of all students. The school provides a variety of
opportunities and experiences for students to develop their academic, creative,
physical, social and emotional skills and is recognised for its growing STEM
based programs. Strong skills in behaviour management and differentiation are
required to cater for the range of learning and wellbeing needs that exist
within our school.
As Central Mangrove is a small school, commitment to
contributing to a positive whole school culture is essential. The successful
applicant will have opportunities to grow professionally, and maintaining a
collaborative growth mindset is a must. Staff work and learn together to
effectively increase the collective efficacy of the school. The successful

student outcomes.

Selection criteria
- Approval
to teach K-6, with the ability to develop and implement explicit,
high-quality, differentiated and engaging literacy and numeracy programs
to meet the needs of, and improve outcomes for, all learners.
- Evidence
of excellent classroom management skills and well-being practices with the
capacity to cater for a diverse range of students including those with
additional needs.
- Demonstrated
commitment to fostering teamwork and continuous school improvement, with a
focus on contributing to a positive, innovative, and learner-focused
culture through open collaboration, shared ideas and mutual respect.
- Demonstrated
strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive and
inclusive relationships that foster a love of learning, engaging students,
parents/carers and the wider community.
Who can apply
Enthusiastic and motivated teachers who have current DoE
approval to teach Primary (K-6) in NSW and a current WWCC.
