About the role

As a valued Early Stage 1 teacher within our primary school, you will play a critical role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for our youngest learners. We seek a reflective educator who continually evaluates and refines their teaching practice to meet the evolving needs of students, ensuring high-quality learning experiences.

The successful candidate will be adaptive, demonstrating flexibility in instructional approaches and responsiveness to the diverse strengths, interests, and backgrounds of students. This adaptability will support differentiated learning and positive engagement at the foundational stages of schooling.

We are committed to professional growth and development, and thus are looking for a teacher who is eager to expand their skills, collaborate with colleagues, and embrace new educational initiatives. Your dedication to ongoing learning and reflective practice will contribute to building a dynamic, supportive school community focused on student success.

  • Experience in creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing, fosters respectful relationships, and encourages active participation and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Demonstrated skill in identifying and addressing diverse learning needs through tailored teaching strategies, ensuring all students, including those with additional learning needs, have equitable access to the curriculum.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and collaboration with colleagues to continually improve teaching practice and student outcomes in line with school and departmental goals.
