The School Sport Unit are seeking teachers interested in working in the School Swimming and Water Safety Program. The program operates primarily in Terms 3 and 4 and offers rewarding opportunities through temporary teaching engagements and temporary casual teaching positions. This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about promoting swimming skills and water safety among children.

What we are looking for:

Teachers and eligible University candidates with current approval to teach in NSW (including temporary, casual and permanent teachers).

Our ideal team members bring a passion for teaching and a commitment to water safety. Key criteria include:

·       Approval to teach in NSW.

·       Swimming qualifications (or a willingness to obtain them).

·       A valid CPR certification (or willingness to complete this).

·       Strong communication and organisational skills.

·       The ability to manage groups of approximately 15 students, in the water.

·       Dedication to promoting water safety and confidence.
