Gateway Community High requires a Student Support Officer on a 6 month contract with the opportunity to extend to cover a amternity leave position.

Gateway Community High is an Alternative High School for Years 9-12 only, class sizes up to 15. Gateway was created to provide opportunities for young people to thrive in an alternative educational setting tailored to support their learning and belonging.

Our supportive program for Years 9 to 12 offers a flexible, engaging and practical learning environment for students to reconnect with their education and set a new direction to complete their ROSA and HSC

The Student Support Officer is an integral part of the Wellbeing Team that support students to be learning and achieving in class.

Qualifications include a Diploma or higher qualification in social work, youth work, welfare, or a related field.
