About the role

This is a job share opportunity for three days per week in a support class setting.

At Galungara PS we have three Inclusive Education classes. We are seeking a teacher to join our team from the week for the remainder of the year, with the possibility of extension.

At Galungara PS, you will be part of a dedicated team that works closely with families and agencies to promote student success and well-being.

Selection criteria

Approval to teach Special Education and/or demonstrated experience in teaching students with diverse learning needs, including those with Autism, and complex behavioural and communication needs.
Demonstrated ability to differentiate the curriculum and implement individualised learning programs that are inclusive and maximise student engagement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a collaborative team and build rapport with students and families.

Who can apply

Teachers with relevant teaching experience and a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) who hold current approval to teach within the NSW Department of Education. This includes casual, temporary and permanent teachers.
