Job description 

We are seeking a full-time teacher who is passionate about teaching English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) to newly arrived students at Cabramatta Intensive English Centre for Term 3 of 2025. You will be joining a dynamic and collaborative team focused on planning and delivering quality lessons aimed at supporting student language acquisition. You will have access to well-developed programs and resources tailored to the needs of both the school and students, facilitating your engagement in this Intensive English Centre (IEC).  

 Key Responsibilities: 

- Plan and deliver engaging EAL/D lessons in accordance with NSW curriculum standards.  

- Foster a classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and high achievement.  

- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.  

- Collaborate with faculty to support student learning and school initiatives.  

- Actively contribute to co-curricular and wellbeing programs.  

 Requirements:

- Current NSW Department of Education teaching qualifications.  

- Current NESA accreditation.  

- Valid Working with Children Check (for employment in NSW).  

- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.  

 Preferred:

- Experience in teaching EAL/D at the secondary or primary level.  

- A passion for supporting diverse learners.
