Job Summary
Madison Park School are
seeking a compassionate, resilient teacher to work 0.4 (Monday and Wednesday)
in our Junior Primary Special class. this role requires a consistent, informed
approach to build trust, promote engagement, and support learning in a safe and
structured environment.
The successful applicant will:
· Provide dedicated
one-to-one teaching and behavioural support tailored to the student's
individual learning interests and emotional needs.
· Plan, implement, and
monitor support strategies, working closely with school leadership, parents,
and external professionals.
· Foster a positive, safe,
and consistent environment that supports emotional regulation and learning
readiness.
· Develop and deliver
differentiated learning tasks in line with the student's educational goals and
abilities.
· Record and report on
progress and daily observations with accuracy and professionalism.
· Demonstrate patience,
consistency, and a flexible, child-centered approach.
· Work collaboratively
with staff and family to ensure a consistent and supportive approach.
· Be proactive in
promoting emotional wellbeing and reducing triggers for challenging behaviour.
· Experience with
augmentative and adaptive communication technologies (Proloquo2go) is desirable.
