Fern Bay Public School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic classroom teacher to join our team for the remainder of the 2025 school year. This one-day-per-week position (Thursdays) involves teaching a wonderful Year 5/6 class to cover executive release. The successful applicant will deliver the class program across PE, Geography and Science.

This role will suit a teacher who:

• Can build strong, positive relationships with students and staff

• Has a range of effective behaviour management strategies

• Has experience supporting students with additional learning needs

• Is reliable, flexible and willing to commit to the role for the rest of the year

There is the potential for additional casual teaching days across the week, but this position will not suit someone looking for short-term blocks.
