Sefton Infants
School - Kindergarten full-time temporary class teacher
Sefton Infants School is seeking suitably qualified and
passionate applicants for a full-time temporary Kindergarten classroom teaching
position from 28 April - 19 December 2025 (start of Term 2 to end of Term 4).
Sefton Infants School is a small, diverse public school in
south-west Sydney. The school specialises in early childhood education,
catering for students from Preschool to Year 2 only. There are currently 110
students enrolled with 94% from a language background other than English.
Sefton Infants School is highly regarded within the community for its early
childhood curriculum focused on meeting the wellbeing and learning needs of
young children in a nurturing environment.
Essential Role Criteria
1. Approval to teach K-2, with the ability to develop and
deliver evidence-based, differentiated literacy and numeracy programs for young
students.
2. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to
create an inclusive and engaging learning environment for students with diverse
learning and wellbeing needs.
3. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to
engage with students, staff, and parents.
