It services the township of Broke and outlying properties. The school has a current enrolment of 28 students comprising of 2 multi grade classes, with a student Aboriginal population of 35%.

About the role
Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified and experienced applicants interested in a temporary School Learning Support Officer (SLSO) position for 2025, with potential for extension.
SLSOs, under the supervision and direction of classroom teachers, assist in classroom activities, school routines, support for student learning and wellbeing, and the care and management of identified students with special needs. The SLSO role is underpinned by a collaborative and consultative approach, working closely with classroom teachers to implement personalised learning programs to help students pursue their personal best in learning.
SLSOs work to maintain positive relationships with students, staff and the wider school community, interacting with parents and carers under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
This position is for 5 days per week, 9am-1pm daily.

Who can apply
Enthusiastic and motivated School Learning and Support Officers who have current approval for employment with the NSW Department of Education.
