The Jannali High School (TJHS) is a 7-12 comprehensive coeducational school situated in the heart of the leafy Sutherland Shire. Position Information

This position is to replace a staff member taking leave for 2025. This position formally commences late in Term 1, in Week 9 with the possibility that it extends for the entirety of 2025. The position has a 7-10 HSIE load, teaching both Geography (SEM1) and History (SEM2). There is possibility for casual work to fill the weeks leading into the position, to familiarise yourself with the faculty, whole school staff and students. 

Position Criteria 

1. Approval to teach Geography (7-10) and/or History(7-10) and any other HSIE codes would be advantageous. 
2. Proven capacity to implement innovative and effective classroom practice, including the use of a range of 21st century approaches for a diverse clientele, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. 
3. Highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills, with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively as an effective team member within the faculty. 
4. Willingness to actively contribute to whole school initiatives to achieve the school’s Strategic Directions in the context of the HSIE faculty.
