Job Summary
Cherrybrook Technology High School (CTHS) is a large comprehensive, coeducational high school that was established in 1992. CTHS has an enrolment of 2067 students, with 74% coming from non-English speaking backgrounds. The school has a highly motivated team of teaching, administrative and support staff, students, and parents, all committed to achieving strong academic outcomes, underpinned by a technologically innovative, supportive environment. Cherrybrook Technology High School values and encourages a broad range of academic, cultural, and sporting pursuits. Extensive extracurricular activities are available for students to excel in sports and cultural activities, and opportunities to participate in leadership initiatives are also offered. We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Food Technology Teacher in a full-time temporary position for term 1, 2025 (31/01/2025 - 11/04/2025).
Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach Food Technology (FTY), and Technology Mandatory (ITX 7-8)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to build strong working relationships with staff, students, and parents
- Demonstrated capacity to work as a collaborative member of the TAS Key Learning Area (KLA)
