Earn some extra money these holidays by presenting an ECE teacher PD course on ClassCover Learn! Do this from the comfort of your own home.  Are you a great communicator with a love of early childhood education and a passion for sharing it with other educators? We want to hear from you!  

ClassCover Learn is on the lookout for new presenters to create and deliver online professional development courses for teachers in 2025. We are expanding our library of online teacher PD to include courses for early childhood educators and are on the lookout for new presenters to work with. If you have a topic specific to ECE that you are passionate about and you think educators would want to learn about, get in touch to discuss your idea.  

If successful, new presenters will be required to plan and record a video presentation accompanied by slides between 1-1.5 hours in length.

Presenting a PD course looks great on your CV and can help you advance in your teaching career. 

Many of our presenters also use the exposure they gain from presenting a course on ClassCover Learn to help boost their profile as a presenter. Some of our existing presenters include Kelly Quilter from Teacher for a Day, Tammy McMillan from Share, Shape and Shine, Aaron Johnston from Mr J’s Learning Space, and Alice Vigors from Thinking Pathways.

Requirements 

• Be comfortable delivering a PD presentation on video and speaking to camera 
• Delivering course content in an engaging way to facilitate learning among our community of educators  
• Speak clearly and confidently, delivering information in a way that is easily understood by educators from non-English speaking and otherwise diverse backgrounds  
• Be familiar with technology and comfortable with the following: 
• Recording a video presentation 
• Creating a slide deck with course content 
• Following the content guidelines of ClassCover Lean PD courses  
• Passion for your chosen subject area that will make your course great  

Timeframe 

We will be shortlisting chosen presenters to have our first round of ECE PD courses recorded and finalised in Term 1 2025. 

What to include in your application 

We're looking for presenters who are engaging and passionate about their chosen topic. As part of the application, you will be asked to record a short 2-3 minute video pitch providing an overview of your chosen topic/s. To help us get to know you, aim to include the following in your application: 

• Some info on your background as well as experience as a presenter if you have any 
• An overview of your chosen topic/s, including why you are interested in it and why you believe it would be of interest to other teachers 
• Your personality! Our audience love presenters who are themselves, so don’t try and make your video too formal
