Primary Classroom Teacher – Full-Time, 2025

Location: Compass Independent School, QUT Campus, Kelvin Grove

About the Role:

As a teacher at Compass, you’ll have the freedom to:

• Design Innovative Curriculum: Create integrated, inquiry-based units for Prep – Year 6 that spark curiosity, encourage investigation, and link learning across subject areas in meaningful ways. 
• Focus on Student Growth: Emphasize each child’s unique learning journey, fostering a growth mindset with assessment practices designed to engage and support young learners. 
• Cultivate Hands-on, Collaborative Learning: Foster a learning environment that values inquiry, play, creativity, and teamwork, with plenty of opportunities for hands-on, experiential learning. 
• Provide Personalized Coaching: Work with small groups, personalizing instruction to build foundational concepts, skills, and strategies tailored to each child’s needs. 
• Build Long-Term Relationships: Create a lasting impact in a multi-age setting, developing meaningful relationships with students over several years. 
• Enjoy Nature-Based Learning: Enjoy our outdoor learning and play program, encouraging exploration, nature play, and child-led discovery in beautiful, green parklands.

• QCT Registration: Required by January 2025.
