Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. The successful candidate will support our lead teachers in facilitating engaging, hands-on learning experiences for our students, assisting in daily classroom activities, and maintaining a prepared environment that fosters curiosity and creativity. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing Montessori-based educational activities, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met.
• Support students with their work, guiding them gently towards independence and encouraging exploration.
• Help maintain an orderly, attractive, and clean classroom environment that reflects Montessori principles.
• Supervise students during outdoor play and transitions, ensuring safety and harmony.
• Prepare and organize materials for lessons and activities as directed by lead teachers.
• Foster a warm, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere in alignment with our Montessori philosophy.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• An understanding of or interest in Montessori principles and practices.
• Patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach with children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, students, and parents.
• Ability to collaborate well in a team environment, demonstrating initiative and a proactive attitude.
