Maths Teachers

$60 - $80/hour + superannuation

Matrix Education is now hiring Maths Teachers to join us at our Parramatta, Castle Hill, Chatswood, Hurstville, Strathfield or Epping campuses.

This role is ideal for anyone who is a subject matter expert who can explain things clearly and is passionate about their area of expertise! Our team is a diverse group of school Teachers, corporate professionals, university teaching staff and post graduate candidates and students.

Classes are available after school from 4:30pm on weekdays or from 9:00am on weekends at our convenient locations, which are easily accessible via public transport.

You will have the opportunity to work with a fun and talented team in a great work environment. Minimal lesson preparation is required as lessons and resources are provided for you.

What you'll do...

• Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the term,
• Ongoing monitoring of student’s academic progress through marking short weekly quizzes,
• Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring.

What you'll need...

• Possess a genuine passion for teaching,
• Previous experience teaching secondary Maths in a classroom setting,
• Have extensive knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stage 4, 5 and 6 Maths,
• Have completed their degree in Education or a related discipline such as Science or Engineering.
