We are now hiring casual English Teachers to join the team at our Strathfield, Hurstville, Chatswood, Liverpool, Castle Hill, Epping or Parramatta campus.

This role is ideal for a current NESA accredited Teacher or a postgraduate student (MTeach, MD or PhDc) seeking an ongoing casual teaching position which offers stability. Each term, you will have regular weekly teaching hours. Minimal lesson preparation is required as lessons and resources are provided for you.

You will have the opportunity to teach engaged and motivated students after school or on weekends in a great environment with a talented team. 

What you'll do...

• Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the term,
• Ongoing monitoring of student’s academic progress through marking weekly essay submissions,
• Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring.

What you'll need...

• Possess a genuine passion for teaching,
• Previous experience teaching secondary English in a classroom setting,
• Have extensive knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stage 4, 5 and 6 English,
• Have completed their degree in Education, Arts, Philosophy or a related discipline,
• Postgraduate studies in the above listed disciplines will be highly regarded.
