Lake Macquarie High School Careers Advisor EOI - Paternity Leave Position (14/10 - 22/11)

Role Statement

• Planning, organising and supervising careers-based incursions and excursions including administration via School Bytes
• Liaising with community stakeholders and employers
• Liaising with EPP staff (Head Teacher and SBAT engagement officer) and program administration
• Advertising, enrolment and support of RIEP programs
• Casual employment support (resume, cover letters, applications)
• TAFE YES enrolments and administration
• 2025 EVET application support
• Weekly SBAT check-ins with current students
• Working with potential 2025 SBAT students 
• Upkeep of Careers Facebook/Instagram pages
• Preparation for 'Creating Futures' year 10 interviews
• Liaising with 2024 year 12 students on finalising destination surveys
• Teaching load - Stage 6 Work Studies, Industry Based Learning, Year 10 Careers as well as lessons at the principal's discretion
