Casual Teacher Assitant in Primary, Educator in Preschool, Educator in After School Care (2-6pm)

As a Teacher Assistant and Early Childhood Educator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our experienced teaching staff. You will assist in the implementation of our curriculum, engage children in enriching activities, and ensure their safety and well-being at all times in our natural bush environment. This role involves working closely with children aged 3-12 years old, fostering their curiosity and creativity through play-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and preparation of educational activities.
• Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Foster children's social and emotional development through effective communication and compassionate care.
• Monitor children during outdoor play and ensure their safety.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to provide feedback on children's progress.

Requirements:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards).
• Previous experience working with children preferable.
• Passion for education in a curiousity building and natural environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Current First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
