Job Summary

Tamar Valley Steiner School is located in St Leonards, on a campus of open fields and gardens.  We deliver the ACARA approved Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework (ASCF), and many of the academic outcomes align closely to the Australian National Curriculum. The learning assistant role would involve in class support of the student in the morning lessons, and working with the student 1:1 with literacy and numeracy intervention sessions on Monday and Tuesday, 9.15 - 12.45 pm each day. The contract would be for an 8 week period (term 2) with the possibility of renewal in terms 3 and 4 of 2024.  Experience in learning support and a certificate of education support would be desirable but not essential.
