Job Summary

Fort Street Public School requires a full time teacher.

Fort Street has a proud tradition of providing diversified educational programs in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The school serves a culturally diverse community, with 84% of students from a language background other than English and 2% of students with Indigenous heritage. The school, located in one of Sydney's iconic heritage locations, is atop Observatory Hill, commanding outstanding views across Sydney harbour and providing students access to many significant educational experiences. This does, we note, require staff to use public transport to travel to the school each day. We have recently welcomed students and staff back to Fort Street Public School at Millers Point in our upgraded facilities (rebuild). 

We require you to have an approval to teach infants and/or primary with demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a hub learning space to deliver high quality literacy and numeracy programs to cater for the diverse needs of students.

The role will begin on day 1 of Term 2, April 29 2024.
