Willoughby Public School is excited to invite applications for a qualified and/or experienced Special Education teacher to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis. This role is within our (IM) Support Class, catering to students with mild intellectual disability who present with diverse learning needs.About the Class:8 students currently enrolled, spanning Years 4, 5, and 6Students predominantly working at Early Stage 1 (ES1) and Stage 1 levelsIndividual Learning Plans tailored to meet each student’s unique needsSupported by a skilled, full-time School Learning Support Officer (SLSO)Integration opportunities in mainstream classes aligned with students’ strengths and interestsInclusive and welcoming playground environment featuring mixed K-6 play spacesPosition Details:Part-time role, Thursdays and Fridays for the remainder of the school yearApplicants must have the right to work through to the end of the school yearAbout You:We are seeking a passionate educator who:Holds relevant qualifications and/or has experience in special education / IM support class settingsIs committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environmentDemonstrates adaptability to meet the varied needs of our studentsHow to Apply:For further information, please contact Mr Shaun Michaeil, Deputy Principal, at 02 9214 1400 or via email at shaun.michaeil@det.nsw.edu.au.Please submit your CV along with a cover letter outlining your relevant experience.
