Marryatville Primary, located in Kensington SA is seeking a compassionate, resilient, and experienced teacher to work 1:1 with a Year 1 student (0.8) who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and is non-verbal. This role requires a consistent, informed approach to build trust, promote engagement, and support learning in a safe and structured environment. There is SSO support and a dedicated classroom space already set up. The successful applicant will:Provide dedicated one-to-one teaching and behavioural support tailored to the student's individual learning interests and emotional needs.Plan, implement, and monitor support strategies, working closely with school leadership, parents, and external professionals.Foster a positive, safe, and consistent environment that supports emotional regulation and learning readiness.Develop and deliver differentiated learning tasks in line with the student's educational goals and abilities.Record and report on progress and daily observations with accuracy and professionalism. Completed a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Working with Children Check Card (or willingness to obtain).
