Tenterfield High School is a rural school located 18km south of the Queensland border in the New England Tablelands.
Our Staff provide excellent and inclusive learning opportunities to support highly engaged, motivated and independent learners. In 2021 THS achieved above average results in Agriculture, Biology, Mathematics Advanced, Primary Industries, Business Studies, English Standard and Hospitality.
Our HSC results improved by 25% from 2017-2018 in 2021 and continued improvement from 2020 to 2021. The improvement represents one of the highest improvements in the state, and demonstrates THS ongoing commitment to student improvement in the HSC and the support of the teaching staff to sustain it.
