Students enrolled at St Joseph’s Primary School, Wauchope are encouraged to live according to the St Josephite traditions, living the core values of being respectful, responsible and resilient. Working collaboratively, we provide a quality education for students through meaningful, innovative learning and faith-filled experiences. We embrace parent engagement and pride ourselves in building strong family and community partnerships.

Excellence in teaching and learning is a priority at St Joseph’s Primary School. We are a professional learning community, where teachers collaborate to ensure teaching and learning is targeted to the needs of each individual child. We focus on collaboration, innovation and differentiation, to ensure each child achieves to the best of their ability.

Students are engaged in contemporary learning, using technology to enhance opportunities. We engage our students to be life-long learners who are critical and creative in their thinking, self-motivated and organised. Our school values the partnership between parents, students and teachers in the educational journey of a child. Students participate in a number of educational initiatives such as play-based learning within the infant classes, STEM (Science and Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), extension opportunities exist for Mathematics and Writing, Music and Band, Drama and representative Sport.
