St. Aloysius Catholic Primary School is located in the beautiful beachside suburb of Cronulla. It caters to the educational needs of approximately 190 girls and boys from Kindergarten to Year 6. As a small school, we believe we offer students a unique and personalised, contemporary education, that allows them to achieve their best in a number of curricular and extra-curricular domains. Our teachers are highly skilled, passionate and enthusiastic. They are committed to ensuring that every student receives an education that equips them with the necessary skills needed for an increasingly changing world.
St Aloysius is a school of authentic student participation. Students are given opportunities to make decisions on matters that affect them. They are active in social justice and are explicitly taught leadership and social and emotional skills to enhance their resilience and wellbeing. The school offers a variety of extra-curricular opportunities in the areas of sport, music, band, choir, chess, dance, cheerleading, art and public speaking. St Aloysius has a strong Mercy tradition and as such, is based on the Mercy Values of stewardship, welcome, excellence, compassion, dignity and respect, justice and service as inspired by Catherine McAuley, the founder of the Sisters of Mercy. Students are inspired and empowered to use their skills and talents to make a positive difference in their world.
