The school's catchement covers part of North Ryde, Denistone East, West Ryde and Ryde. The school is a new build (opened 2020) and has open plan learning hubs. Current enrolment is approx 550 students.

Smalls Road Public School incorporates an innovate educational model, including flexible teaching where all individual classes learn within collaborative ‘learning hubs’ that can consist of up to 3 classes. Our school has been built to support technology-rich learning with infrastructure that will support ongoing technology changes and advancements.

Parking
Staff car park can be used by casuals. If the gate is closed use the intercom to buzz the front office for access. There is someone in the office from 8am.
Hub Teaching
Smalls Road is has open plan teaching and learning hubs, however, all explicit teaching in literacy and numeracy are done as individual classes. Although you will be working in a hub with other staff you will be teaching your own class for most of the day.
