Sir Eric Woodward School is a special school for students with disabilities and also houses the Distance Education Support Unit (see www.desu.com.au).

The school is purpose built with a hydrotherapy pool and multi-sensory room. Programs cater for students with high support needs both at the school and through Distance Education.

The school has an autism class based on a model of integration into local schools. The school has a full time nurse and enjoys strong community support.
