North Rocks Public School is an outstanding school, providing quality education and a broad range of learning opportunities for students to excel in academic, sporting and cultural pursuits. The school currently consists of 34 mainstream classes, two classes for gifted students (OC) and three special education classes. These additional classes are accessed through a selective placement process determined by the Department of Education . Our school aims to provide a safe and happy learning environment which is attractive and stimulating, promote the skills of literacy and numeracy, encourage the use of a dynamic range of technologies and to seek adaptive and creative solutions to problems, encourage co-operation, caring and respect and expect students to accept increasing responsibility for their own learning and behaviour and function as part of the broader community.
