Minerva School caters for primary and secondary aged students with special needs.
Our mission is to make the students a successful part of the community. This is implemented in a supportive and nurturing environment in which curriculum is varied and appropriate to students' needs to promote lifelong learning.
All students have an individual education, transition or vocational plan developed in conjunction with parents, caregivers and community personnel to meet their specific educational, social and vocational needs. At Year 10 level all students are eligible to prepare for a life skills School Certificate and in Years 11 and 12 participate in a Higher School Certificate special program of study. The school is well-resourced with innovative classroom technologies, dedicated computer learning space providing secure internet access and networked PCs to support student learning programs.
