Kogarah High School develops young people who are skilled learners, socially responsible and excited about their future.

It has a long and proud history of student achievement, both academically (particularly in the areas of mathematics-including extension 1 and 2, physics, and chemistry), and on the sporting field. The school is also highly recognised for its Creative Arts program. Musical performances are held at the school and much enjoyment and learning occurs by those students who are members of the school choir and school band.
