Kanahooka High School is comprehensive high school with an anticipated enrolment of 700 students, including 17% Aboriginal students and 10 Support Unit Classes for 2023. There are approximately 20% of students with disabilities in the mainstream classes across Years 7-12. We build and develop high expectations that focus on social development, learning potential and leadership capabilities to confidently meet the challenges of the future for all students, staff and the community.
Our school has a learning culture where students achieve their academic potential. Teachers have high expectations to deliver lessons which challenge students and engage them in learning. We work closely with the community, parents and caregivers who support our school goals and assist our students to be innovative thinkers and confident, self-motivated learners.
