Jamison High School is located in Penrith at the foothills of the Blue Mountains, approximately 50 kilometres to the west of Sydney.
With its motto 'Achieve through co-operation' the school is a comprehensive high school which caters for over 1000 students. A broad curriculum caters for students with a vast range of interests and abilities and includes a wide range of vocational education and training (VET) offerings.
The school has a purpose-built facility to allow students to train in Nursing and the Health Care Industry as part of their Higher School Certificate. With its large grounds, multipurpose hall and excellent technology facilities, students are encouraged to achieve in all areas of school life.
