Overview
Following years of research, the I Can Read System was created by educational and cognitive psychologists based on research into reading acquisition and over 25 years of fieldwork.
The I Can Read System is the first structured, cumulative and hierarchical system in the work to link clusters of letters to a single sound.
Originating from research conducted between 1995 and 2000 by Antony Earnshaw and Annabel Seargeant, it remains unique and highly successful.
