At FGHS we challenge and inspire our students to pursue their passions and interests and become successful, active citizens of society. We undertake this through a diverse curriculum with electives subjects beginning in Year 8 and by enabling students to become independent learners.
Our students access a myriad of opportunities to expand their world including interesting subjects such as Forensics and Acting. Through our Learning and Wellbeing lessons students explore the wider world and are able to verbalise a future for themselves. The Career and Transition program encompasses opportunities for students wishing to enter the worlds of work, TAFE and University.
Our school offers a strong Work Experience and Work Placement program from Year 9 through to Year 12 allowing students to experience the real life world of work, assisting them in making informed decisions about their pattern of study.
