Como Public School was the first school in the Sutherland Shire. Built in 1884 on the banks of the Georges River. We are a small school, where every child and their family are known, valued and cared for. We are a PBL school, recognising positive behaviour for learning. The schools expectations of being safe, respectful learners are followed by all students. We have five classes with some composites. The school has IWBs in all rooms, and the students have access to iPads, Chrome Books and desk top computers in their classrooms. We have an extensive school garden that the students and families care for, including chickens, frogs and stingless native bees. Classrooms are modern and well resourced.
