We are a Primary school in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. Our school has 10 mainstream classes Kindergarten-Year 6. We also have a Department of Education Preschool attached to the school. There are 2 classes of 20 students in the Preschool for children who will start school the following year. We also have a 3 Support Unit classes. These classes have a smaller student/teacher ratio. Teachers may be asked to work in all areas of the school. Casual staff do not need additional qualifications to work in the Preschool or Support unit on a casual basis but will be asked if they are willing to work in these classes. Additional school learning support officers will support and guide casual teachers in these classes.
