Aldinga Payinthi College
Aldinga Beach, South Australia
Overview

The college was named to acknowledge our place within the Aldinga community, our aspirations as a B-12 and to recognise our First Nations people on whose traditional land the college is built. The Kaurna meaning of Payinthi inspires us to look, seek, be curious with our thinking and is pronounced Bay-in-DEE. The principles are reflected in our way of being: INSPIRE, CONNECT and BELONG. The Inspire pillar refers to being curious, aiming high and embracing challenge. Community is represented in the Connect pillar as we seek to collaborate and connect to enhance our learning. The Belong pillar reflects our pride in learning on Kaurna land and the importance we place on building a sense of place and belonging within this new school community.

At Aldinga Payinthi College we celebrate differences in gender, age, ethnicity, race, cultural background and identity, disability, religion and sexual orientation. We believe that our approach to diversity and inclusion allows us to attract, recruit and engage the best staff from the widest talent pool. We encourage applications from all communities, and we value respectful relationships based on empowerment.
