Newtown High School of the Performing Arts is seeking a part-time English Teacher (0.9 FTE) for Term 1, 2026, with the possibility of extension for the remainder of the year.

Essential Requirements

• Approval to teach English Years 7–12.

• Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, parents and the wider community.

• Proven capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies and to design and deliver differentiated teaching and learning programs that maximise student growth and uphold high expectations for all learners.
